Hello,
I am descended from Mary Silk, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Silk, christended in Nunney in 1779. She is my direct line Maternal GGGGG Grandmother. Is anyone doing any kind of DNA testing? I carry her Mitochondrial DNA.
I am interested in contacting other descendants of her and her husband Samuel Hillier.

I have always wondered if DNA testing might give us a better idea of where the family came from further back.
