My Silk family connection is:

James Silk (1836, Dublin) - married Ann?
Children: Daniel Silk (1863 Manchester); John Thomas Silk (1860 Manchester); James Silk (1866 Manchester); Alfred Silk (1868 Manchester); Winnifred Silk (1870 Manchester).

Daniel Silk was my great great grandfather; he married Margaret Ann Warburton in Manchester in 1889 and worked as a 'Cotton Calendarman'.
He had a daughter, Mary Ann Silk (1890 Manchester) who married Joseph Devos in Manchester in 1915.

Anyone out there who might be a connection?
