I think it would be good if we all have are real names as our account names on here, coz its will make things so much easier in the long run, when we can all clearly see who each other are.
If you have joined up with another name, and you would like to change it, and your not sure how to do it, just make a post here on this thread and I can sort it out for you ;D
Thanks! ;D

Hi Daniel, My account name is PYELADY and you can change it to Liz Stevens-Pye. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and my grandfather was Walter Charles Silk, son of Elijah Silk & Elizabeth Norris. My grandfather and two of his brothers came to Canada as young children. One brother died early on and another went back to England. My grandfather worked as a farmhand until he was considered an adult. I am a second cousin to Fred Silk who told me about this site. What a wonderful idea this site is. Thank you for all your work.
Liz Stevens-Pye

How do I go about telling you about my family? Do I just put it on here? Do I email it to you?

If you want you can start a new thread in the America board - silkfamily.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=americaIt would be great to hear all about how they started out in America and the places they went to We should all have a Silk family meet when we have a good number of people interested ;D

Remember its no rush posting information up on here, we are trying to cover hundreds of years and so many generations and branches of the Family, its just a matter of posting bits and pieces up whenever you can.
Its very early days here, but in years to come Im sure we will be able to build up a massive picture of how the family has spread around the world ;D
